Optical Brighteners, Optical Brightening Agents (OBAs), Fluorescent Brightening Agents (FBAs) or Fluorescent Whitening Agents (FWAs) are dyes that absorb light in the UV and violet region (usually 340‐370 nm) of the EM spectrum and reemit light in the blue region (typically 420‐470 nm).
Color Tone: bright blue and light white color( similar as standard product).
Common Adding Amount: 0.02- 0.05% (compare with the amount of raw material) and add or reduce according to the whiteness.
Application: whitening of thermoplastic plastics, PVC, polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, cellulose acetate, paint, coating, printing inks, etc. Brightener OB can be used in whitening of polymer at every processing stage, bring products brilliant blue white lustre.
Storage: preserved in a cool, dry place away from light, two years storage period.
